The GEM-CT-45/100 has a 45A In-Line connected meter with a 100A CT. This meter has been designed as a replica of the EM115 meter and will work straight out of the box with any GivEnergy Inverter.
As the new meter has been made with programmable channels, it is not limited to being solely an ID1 meter as with the EM115 meter.
To change it to an ID2 or ID3 meter, hold down the button on the front for a few seconds and wait for the screen to change. Then press the set button to chose the ID and then hold the button again to confirm.
The ID1 meter measures the Grid import/export.
The ID2 meter measure the PV Generation.
The ID3 meter also measure PV Generation.
The meter’s CT clamp has a reach of 2m.
